History:

Clarice has been involved in an extensive range of environmental and heritage matters including assisting in the preparation of administrative appeals in terms of the provisions of the National Environmental Management Act 107 of 1998, the National Heritage Resources Act 25 of 1999, the Development Facilitation Act 67 of 1995 and the Land Use Planning Act 3 of 2014. Clarice’s experience includes advising clients on objections in terms of the National Environmental Management Act and the Land Use Planning Ordinance 15 of 1985.

Clarice has experience in dispute resolution in terms of the Sectional Titles Act 95 of 1986 and Sectional Titles Scheme Management Act 8 of 2011 as well as assisting in the preparation of numerous legal opinions and has undertaken environmental legal compliance reviews and audits for clients as part of their operational requirements and as part of the process of formal statutory compliance audits.

In addition, Clarice has significant experience in High Court litigation with particular focus on judicial review applications.
