I am an experienced sole practitioner, offering sophisticated, quality work. I have frequently successfully litigated/resolved disputes in high profile matters, including in the "secret ballot" case in the Constitutional Court (United Democratic Movement v Speaker of the National Assembly and Others CCT/89/2017).
Areas of practice include wills and estates, administrative law, constitutional law, commercial law, labour law and unlawful competition. I have also represented claimants in mass disaster claims.
I offer personal service and am dedicated to work that I do for clients.
I commenced practice for my own account in October 2007, having previously worked at medium and small sized firms offering quality work in Johannesburg. Before that, I practised law at a well-known Manhattan law firm in the late 1980s, after completing an LLM at the University of Pennsylvania, USA in 1987. I have a BA (1983) LLB (1986) from the University of the Witwatersrand. I am admitted as an attorney, notary and conveyancer in South Africa, and as an attorney in New York, USA.
