D'Arcy-Herrman Raney Inc. specialises in:  Litigation, which includes General Litigation, Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation in the High Court and Magistrates Court and Family Law, which including divorces ; Conveyancing, which includes land transfers, sectional title transfers, sub-division and registrations; Notarial services which includes registration of Antenuptial contracts and notarising of documentation; Drafting and advising on various contracts which include partnership agreements, shareholders agreements, sale of business, sale of shares, sale of property and lease agreements (commercial and residential), trust agreements and wills; Environmental law from a wildlife and tourism perspective.

The firm was first formed by Phillipa Levitt in 1991 under the name PE Levitt Attorneys. Felicity D'Arcy-Herrman joined the firm in May 1992, bringing with her conveyancing and notarial skills. Steve Raney broadened the offering of the firm  when he joined after a number of years in large national and international commercial firms.

The firm has expanded and reduced, but the attorneys employed have all been attorneys with a strong commitment to providing personalised and efficient service.

Today, the firm consists of Felicity D'Arcy- Herrman  who practises family law, general litigation, conveyancing and provides notarial services and Steve Raney who has a  commercial, environmental, property and litigation practice. Both are qualified attorneys , notaries and conveyancers.

Felicity and Steve are assisted by Patricia Makena, a para-legal in the conveyancing department and Thulani Mpepu, a para-legal in the litigation and commercial departments.
