Bowes McDougall Inc was started in March 1988 by Peter Bowes and Tony McDougall. The firm acquired and incorporated the firms De Wet en Kie, Moffat and Du Preez, Chisholms and E J Nurse in a very short space of time.

The company became an incorporated company in 1994.

Currently the firm comprises four directors, four additional attorneys and 14 secretarial and clerical staff members.

The firm has 8 Attorneys, 1 Article Clerk and 14 Secretarial and other staff. We have 4 qualified Conveyancers, 3 qualified Notaries as well as a qualified Valuer and 2 Appraisers in the firm.
