Our Director Mr Anandroy Ramdaw has been a practicing attorney since 1983, a conveyancer since 1988, CCMA Accredited Commissioner from 1996 to 2006 having handled over 2500 labour disputes and issuing over 500 arbitration awards and rulings. He has been invited twice to act as a Judge in the Labour Court and issued some reportable and important Judgements relating to unfair dismissals and unfair labour practices. 12 of his judgements have been published and whilst a CCMA Commissioner his award in Shoprite Checkers v Ramdaw N O remains an authority in review applications as his decision was confired by the Labour Appeal Court in 2001 setting the bar for assessing review applications in the Labour Court.
Mr Ramdaw is an admitted Solicitor in England and Wales, admitted Barrister and Solicitor in Australia as well as a Foreign Lawyer in Mauritius. He is an expert consultant with Steven and Associates a leading law firm in Mauritius. He is a trained arbitrator affiliated to the London Court of International Arbitration, Mauritius Court of International Arbitration and BRICS Legal Forum to name a few. He serves on various local and international bodies including GITAC the LSSA as well as NADEL.
We attend to litigation in all courts be it civil, commercial, criminal, labour, constitutional or construction disputes and have a reputation to be cost effective, professional achieving the best results for our clients. Mr Ramdaw is a well-known human rights lawyer and in 1991 represented President Cyril Ramaphosa and 60 others as well as many other political detainees prior to our democracy. In 2019 he delivered a lecture on Gandhi and Mandela titled "Life under apartheid and lessons from their lives" at the University of Delhi India to hundreds of international delegates and thereafter at the University of Sao Paulo Brazil which lecture was podcast to over 500 students and academics throughout Brazil. He also spoke at the last BRICS Legal Conference held in Rio in October 2019 and has been judicially trained in a Canada South Africa program which equipped him for his various judicial/arbitration roles.

We do forensic investigations, prosecution and chairing of disciplinary inquiries, training, ADR and accept work on a no win no pay basis. We developed an expertise in labour law and got reinstated inter alia 2 different clients one with a 6,5 Million rand back pay and another with a 1,9million rand backpay . We also litigated in the Supreme Court of Appeal, Labour Appeal Court and in the Constitutional Court with success with Mr Ramdaw appearing as counsel saving on advocates fees.
