Volker specialises in a broad range of corporate and commercial services including conveyancing work for property transactions, wills, trusts, estate planning, administration of deceased estates, drafting of contracts and other commercial work.
Volker obtained a B.Com (Law) degree in 1992 and an LL.B degree in 1994 at the University of Pretoria. After his tertiary studies he worked at a legal firm in Germany for a period of six months, where after he successfully completed his practical training at the Law School in Pretoria.
He joined Van Velden-Duffey at the beginning of 1996. He was admitted as attorney and notary public in the High Court of South Africa on the 4th March 1997 and as conveyancer in September 1997 after successfully completing all three admission examinations. He also qualified and was admitted as appraiser in terms of Section 6(1) of the Administration of Estates Act, 1965.
He has been practicing in Rustenburg with Van Velden-Duffey since his admission and was appointed as director in 2000.
Volker is very involved in the German community in Kroondal and the community in Rustenburg. He is a keen sportsman playing touch rugby, golf and tennis when he has the time. Work is, however, his priority. He focuses on delivering fast, efficient, meticulous and tailor-made legal services to his many individual and corporate clients.
