Born and raised in Pretoria, he matriculated from Cornwall Hill College in 2009 before earning his LLB from the University of Pretoria in 2022—all while working full-time at a law firm and completing his articles.

With a strong background in Civil Litigation, Erik gained extensive experience handling Motor Vehicle Accidents, Personal Injury Claims, and Sectional Title matters, managing cases from inception to trial. His commitment to continuous growth led him to qualify as a Notary in 2023, equipping him with the expertise to draft and register Antenuptial Contracts.

In 2024, Erik joined Shapiro & Haasbroek Inc., seeking a more impactful role in Family Law—a field that resonates deeply with him as a father.
