History:

Ryan was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2007 and holds a BSc in Genetics & Biotechnology (2001), LLB (2004) and Post-graduate Diploma in Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Law (2024) all obtained from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Ryan is a dual practioner, with extensive experience and expertise in local and international Intellectual Property Law and ICT Law.

Ryan is a qualified trade mark practitioner and fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL).

Ryan heads up the Intellectual Property Law Department.
