History:

Aletta van der Merwe was admitted as an attorney in 1985 after completing the degree B.Proc. She was later admitted as conveyancer and notary and has been in business of law since 1981 when she started her articles. Apart from conveyancing and notarial work, she is an expert with the administration of estates, commercial law in general and drafting of contracts, wills and other specialised agreements. She has served as a Councillor for the Gauteng Law Society for the last decade and also acts as Commissioner of the Small Claims Court for the last two decades.
