History:

Maggie specialises in Conveyancing, Property Law and Wills and Estates. She obtained a BA Law, LL.B. Degree from the University of Stellenbosch and a LL.M. Degree in Tax Law from the University of Cape Town. She completed her articles of clerkship at a Cape Town based law firm and thereafter she spent 2 years as a tax consultant at a large auditing firm.

Maggie then joined the conveyancing department of a large firm as an Associate in 2004 and was appointed as a Director in 2008. Thereafter Maggie moved to the banking sector as Senior Legal Advisor in the property finance department. Maggie joined VLCB as an Associate at the beginning of 2014 and has been a Partner since 2016.
