Britney Theron has over ten years of experience in employment law and human resources. Her background in human resources included acting as an in-house Human Resource Business Partner for an international accommodation booking company. Britney found a love for the law and completed her law degree through the University of South Africa whilst undertaking her articles of clerkship. She was admitted as a Practising Attorney in 2019.
Britney completed a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law through the University of Cape Town in 2021. Her focus areas were Contract Law, Corporate Governance, Collective Labour Law, and Tax Law. Britney held the position of Senior Associate at a prominent employment-law specialist firm in Cape Town before establishing BT Attorneys. Britney is registered as a Practising Attorney with the Legal Practice Council and is a member of the Cape Town Attorneys Association (“CTAA”) in addition to the South African Society of Labour Law (“SASLAW”).
