Phillipa has practiced in the environmental law field since 2011. She assists clients in both the public and private sectors on a range of environmental and sustainability issues, including planning and development; mining; agriculture; waste management and pollution control; natural resource management; coastal management; and renewable energy.
Phillipa’s experience encompasses inter alia environmental compliance assessments, due diligence assessments, contractual issues, legal opinions on new and pending legislation and permit and licensing requirements; and environmental appeal processes. Phillipe has also lectured environmental law at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Cape Town and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
