Cormac Cullinan has practised as an environmental law specialist for approximately 30 years and has worked in more than 20 countries. He has extensive experience in most aspects of environmental law, (including air pollution, climate change, conservation, waste management, and water), as well as in heritage, and occupational health and safety law. He was a member of the transaction advisory team that helped design South Africa’s renewable energy programme and is also an experienced litigator. Cormac is an innovative lawyer who has drafted environmental treaties, legislation and policies for many governments, and is the author of several books, chapters and articles on improving governance systems. He has addressed the General Assembly of the United Nations and regularly gives keynote speeches at international conferences and universities around the world.
