History:

Prior to pursuing a legal career, Neill completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree at the University of Cape Town, followed by an Honours degree in psychology at the South African College of Applied Psychology, before finally returning to UCT to complete his postgraduate LLB.

Neill completed his articles at a general practice law firm in the Southern Suburbs and was thereafter retained as an associate following his admission as an attorney in early 2022. He gained a broad and diverse range of experience managing litigious and non-litigious matters in various areas of law, including contract and commercial law, property law, firearms law, and family law. Neill’s motivation to continuously develop his skills further saw him qualify and be admitted as a Notary in the latter half of 2022.

Neill’s interests predominantly lie in contract and commercial law, which led him to join the firm in November 2022 to gain more experience in a specialised commercial practice.
