History:

Theunis is a director specialising in litigation at both our Vredenburg and Langebaan branches. He obtained his Baccalaureus Procurationis degree from the University of the Free State in 1993. Theunis was admitted as an attorney in 1996 and gained valuable experience by completing his articles at a reputable law firm in Bloemfontein. Following that, he practised as an attorney at Maree Gouws Inc in Welkom, where he was promoted to director in 1999. From 2007 to October 2016, he served as the managing director of the firm.

In November 2016, Theunis joined our Vredenburg offices, bringing his expertise in civil and criminal litigation, including family law, Road Accident Fund claims, and disciplinary hearings at schools.
