History:

Geoff Steere is an attorney with over 25 years of legal experience. Having graduated from the University of Cape Town, Geoff was soon promoted to the role of Director of one of South Africa’s largest legal conveyancing firms, where he gained extensive experience in retail conveyancing and complex private wealth estate planning and administration. He gave wide-ranging speaking tours on a variety of legal topics to major estate agencies and banks throughout the country.

Geoff furthered his studies at the University of Los Angeles, California, and was appointed as the Senior Vice-President of Legal Affairs for OrderTalk, an internet company based in the United States. In 2016 he was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer at OrderTalk, where he played a material role in the successful acquisition of the company by Uber Technologies in 2018.

Geoff returned to South Africa in 2019 and is now practicing at Maurice Phillips Wisenberg attorneys, where he brings a wealth of local and international experience to his specialisation in conveyancing, wills, private wealth and estate planning and the administration of deceased estates.
