Mr JJ Jacobs completed his BLC LLB degrees at the University of Pretoria in 1998 and 2000. He completed his articles at a well-known commercial firm in Pretoria and primarily worked in the commercial litigation and commercial departments.

Johann specializes in commercial work, commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
After completing his diploma course in Commercial Arbitration at the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa, he was chosen to attend an internship program at the International Court of Arbitration in Paris, France. Whilst in Europe, he completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) in London and is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
After returning to South Africa, Mr Jacobs gained extensive experience as corporate associate at one of the leading commercial firms in Johannesburg attending to various merger transaction as well as corporate commercial agreements.
Mr Jacobs also at one point held a position as commercial and new business manager of a boutique real estate franchisor business entity, where he gained valuable experience in the processes of conveyancing and mortgage origination.
Johann operates within the firm’s commercial, commercial litigation and corporate collection departments.
Apart from a keen interest in history, Johann is a keen sportsman, with various half-ironman and ironman finishes under his belt.
