Koos Benadie, an experienced corporate and commercial law practitioner and senior director at Barnard, boasts an impressive track record in providing exceptional legal services to his diverse clientele. Specialising in company law, insolvency law, business rescue, restructure, and other corporate legal matters, Koos has a wealth of experience in navigating complex corporate landscapes from start to finish, including any litigation that may arise.
Koos has been recognised by Best Lawyers for his exceptional work in mergers and acquisitions since 2021, and it is a well-deserved accolade for his contributions to the legal profession. His focus ranges from individuals to large corporate entities, and he has provided legal services to financial institutions and large retail operations.
After obtaining his LLB and LLM degrees from the University of Pretoria in 2004 and 2006, respectively, Koos was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2008. He has since received a Certificate (Cum Laude) for Business Rescue Practitioner from the University of South Africa (2013) and a Certificate for B-BEEE Management Development Programme (Cum Laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand (2015).
