Tom Blyth specialises in family law and mediation and has been in practice for 17 years. Tom has a passion for mediation and keeping the family unit as conflict-free as possible. Tom takes the time to educate himself around his client's needs and educate his clients on their options, making sure they are getting the best advice for their situation.
Tom obtained his LLB from the University of Cape Town and was admitted to practice in 2006 and has the same right of appearance in the High Court as an Advocate.
Tom obtained a wealth of experience in the practice of Civil Litigation whilst working within a range of diverse Law Firms in Cape Town. For the past several years Tom has specialized in the practice of Matrimonial, Family Law, Maintenance Law and related litigation. Tom is a FAMAC accredited Family Law Mediator and Facilitator (FAMAC). Tom is also an accredited Collaborative Lawyer (National Association of Collaborative Professionals) and experienced Lay Counsellor and Facilitator (Lifeline).
