Jerry obtained the degrees B.Soc.Sci and LLB from the University of Cape Town. He further obtained an LLM in International Economic Business Law (IEBL) from the Kyushu University in Japan. He served his articles with Van Velden Duffey Incorporated where his interest in litigation was harnessed. After his admission in 2004, he worked in the financial services sector where he gathered extensive experience and exposure in compliance, legal risk and business management. He served as Chairperson of Professional Conduct Inquiries for the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) where he was exposed to medical malpractice litigation.
