Bartho was admitted in 2009 after completing his articles in Nelspruit where he handled mostly litigious matters and his studies at UCT and Stellenbosch where he specialised in advanced company, competition, internet and incorporeal property law.
He joined Thomson Wilks in 2011 after having worked in the UK. Bartho enjoys all areas of litigation, and also has a specific interest in intellectual property and entertainment law, being active in performance and writing and having had several articles published onews24 and other websites as well as in hard print. Bartho also has specific experience in the negotiation of the sale of mining commodities and related logistics contracts, as well as in family law and consumer protection and credit law. His practice further includes the drafting of agreements, wills, trusts and commercial documentation.
