Sunil completed his LL.B. at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2012. Having been exposed to Labour Law during his articles, he had developed a keen interest in pursuing it and joined a specialised Labour Law firm in Durban. In January 2014, he obtained his High Court Right of Appearance. Sunil’s interest lies in individual Labour Law, representing clients in disputes at the Labour Court, CCMA and bargaining councils, chairing disciplinary hearings and assisting employers with health and safety issues. Sunil is currently is reading for his Masters of Law (LL.M.) in labour studies. Sunil joined Cox Yeats in 2016 and practices in the Labour Law Team. He was appointed partner in 2017.
