Theresa has been a director in the Trusts & Estates Department at Millers since 2015, focusing on holistic estate planning and specialising in the administration of deceased estates and appointments as curator of estates.
She was employed by the firm in 2003 as a legal secretary and studied part-time through UNISA, where she graduated with a LLB degree in 2010, while serving her period of articles. She worked in various departments within the firm and decided to focus on estate planning. For Theresa, quality of service, a strong work ethic and her reputation, is of utmost importance.
Theresa is also a member of the Fiduciary Institute of South Africa (FISA) and updated the Administration of Deceased Estates-section of the LexisNexis publication Butterworths Forms & Precedents: Estates. Apart from authoring various articles for the firm's newsletter and newspaper editorials, she also serves as a member of the governing body of George Pre-Primary School.
