Anneke van Eck, an admitted attorney holds both a B.Proc and LLB degree from the North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus.
She commenced her articles at Williams Müller & Mostert Attorneys in Potchefstroom on 5 January 1998, where she was admitted and enrolled as an attorney of the then Transvaal High Court on 22 February 2000.
During 2002 she became partner at the same firm, then under the name and style of Müller Mostert & Partners. She was the first female candidate attorney, admitted attorney and then partner in the firm's history.
[She obtained her LLB degree on a part-time basis by attending evening lectures from 2000 to 2002].
After more than 17 (SEVENTEEN) years at the aforesaid firm, as head of their Litigation and Collections Departments, she ventured out to open and establish VEW - Van Eck Windell - Attorneys on 1 June 2015.
Many career highlights followed, one of which was the appointment as Councillor of the North West Attorneys' Council during 2010, Vice Chairperson during 2016 and Chairperson in 2017. In addition, she succesfully completed the Law Society of South Africa (LSSA) Significant Leadership Programme for Female Lawyers in Cape Town in 2017.
She currently serves on several Boards.
