Nerisha has over 10 years’ experience in general and commercial litigation. Nerisha litigates in both the Magistrates and High Courts relating to debt recovery, property issues including evictions and tax litigation. She also advises clients on matters relating to anti-competitive behaviour, consumer protection and educational institutions.
Nerisha is a notary public and is an internationally accredited mediator by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR). She also lectures at the School of Practical Legal Training, Durban.
Nerisha formed part of the legal team which successfully pursued the appeal Spring Forest Trading CC v Wilberry (Pty) Ltd t/a Ecowash and another 2015 (2) SA 118 (SCA). This case dealt with the validity of cancellation and variation of contracts by e-signatures. The team was awarded Litigation Team of the Year at the African Legal Awards in 2016 for their work on this matter.
She is passionate about social upliftment and volunteers with various community organisations.

Nerisha is an internationally accredited mediator by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), the largest independent dispute resolution body in Europe.
Nerisha is a Member of the South African Medical Association Mediation Steering Committee. Her particular field of interests in mediation disputes relates to commercial disputes and property related matters.
