Ulana qualified with an LLB degree in 2006 from the University of Johannesburg.

She served her articles in 2007 at VZLR, where her interest in conveyancing was harnessed and was admitted as an attorney and a conveyancer in 2008. She was the founding member of Krugel Attorneys in 2009. Ulana saw the opportunity to expand her influence and created Van Heerden & Krugel Attorneys, together with Jacques.

Ulana accumulated 10 years of specialist experience in general transfers, bond registrations, and cancellations, property development, the opening of township registrations, and sectional title schemes as well as notarial agreements.
