History:

Gert van Staden and started his professional career as a public prosecutor in 1988 and within six months moved to the office of the Attorney General, Johannesburg. He was promoted to the civil bench as a magistrate at the Johannesburg Magistrate Court and served in that capacity until February 1989.

Expanding his horizons, Gert commenced practice as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa during 1989 from where he moved to the side bar and was admitted as an attorney in 1992.

He has considerable experience in civil litigation as well as commercial law.
