Leila completed the degree LLB at the University of Pretoria at the end of 2006. She then proceeded with an AIPSA diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice in 2007. She was also admitted as an attorney on 8th of September 2008. She is currently a part-time LLM student at the University of Pretoria in Mercantile Law.
Before joining MacRobert, she gained experience at two law firms in Pretoria specialising in High Court and Magistrate's Court Litigation, Labour Law, Administration of Deceased Estates and Insolvent Estates and various other commercial matters. She was also involved in numerous political trials.
In April 2010 Leila became part of the MacRobert team as a Junior Associate and has gained tremendous knowledge of Commercial and Corporate Litigation. In December 2012 she was promoted to a Director of the MacRobert team. She is currently concentrating her practice on Commercial Corporate and Banking Litigation.
