History:

Achieved the degree B.Proc in 1986 at the Free State University. Danie is a Certified Financial Planner and wrote the exam of the Financial Planning Institute in 1992and has since been a member of said Institute.

He obtained a Diploma in Insolvency Law at the University of Pretoria in 2001 and a Certificate in Business Rescue Practice at Unisa in 2011. He is currently the Western Cape Chairperson and a National Council member of the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association (SARIPA).

He acted as Legal Advisor to Sanlam after the completion of his studies and practises as an attorney since 1993 at the Firm Rauch Gertenbach Incorporated - Mossel Bay. He heads the Estate and Trust department which is specializing in estate planning, drafting of trusts and wills, the administration of deceased estates, trust administration, as well as the administration of insolvent estates and liquidations.

His business minded approach is invaluable to the Practice and his finding of effective solutions to complex issues add immense value to the Firm. He consciously makes an effort to be available and approachable at any given time, taking time out to assist his clients.
