In 2003 and prior to joining VZLR, Tamara was employed as a Judges Clerk in the High Court of South Africa, situated in Pretoria. She joined VZLR in 2004 as a candidate attorney and was admitted as an attorney, and appointed as a professional assistant in VZLR's General Litigation department, in January 2007.
Tamara was appointed as a director of VZLR in September 2010 and practices in the General Litigation department. Tamara's practice includes matters relating to General Litigation, ABSA Vehicle Asset Finance, Insurance Law, Commercial Law, Family Law and debt recovery. Tamara also has a keen interest in legal cost, including the drafting of Bills of Cost
Apart from VZLR, Tamara also holds various other directorships in other companies and was recently elected to serve as counsellor on the Legal Practice Council of Gauteng, where she also chairs the province’s Risk and Compliance Committee.
Tamara is the Head of VZLR's BEE and Employment Equity portfolios where she practically applies her passion for education, training and skills development of VZLR’s employees and in the process strives to impact the greater society we live in.
