Selinah Naledzani

Mrs Selinah Naledzani is the founder of the firm and has extensive experience in conveyancing services through working for established law firms over several years. Some of her major accomplishments are highlighted hereunder:-

She served her articles with the Legal Aid Board at the University of Venda where she acquired extensive experience in criminal law, debt collection and litigation both in the Magistrate Court and the High Court.

She attended to the opening of several Sectional Title Registers on behalf of City of Johannesburg in the former own affairs areas, such as Eldorado Park, Noordgesig and Westbury. She also attended to the subsequent transfers of the units to the beneficiaries in accordance with the discount benefit scheme. She attended to the opening of township registers and subsequent transfers of the properties to the approved beneficiaries and to the subdivisions and consolidation of properties. As a director at Tim du Toit Inc, she was in charge of Estate Late Transfers Department and responsible for managing relations with ABSA Trust as a sole client (2004 to 2006).

As a Professional Assistant and subsequently an Associate at Negota SSH (Gauteng) Inc (2006 to 2008), she was responsible for:-

• Cosmo City finance linked transfers as well as bonded housing transfers for and on behalf developers.
• Providing legal advice on land acquisitions and conveyancing related matters to the Lufhereng Housing Project task team, a joint venture between Gauteng Provincial Government and the City of Johannesburg intended to develop over 24 000 mixed income houses as well as on the Sol plaatje Project, intended to convert hostels into residential units.
• Attended to the registration of subdivisions and consolidation of properties belonging to the City of Johannesburg and the Gauteng Provincial Government such as Thulani, Doornkop and Naledi townships.
• Attended to subsidy transfer of to the approved beneficiaries in Tshepong, Winterveld and Lehae as part of the PRT.

As a proprietor at Mashau Naledzani Attorneys ( 2009 to date)

• Attended to the opening of the township register for Orlando and Orlando East on behalf of the City of Johannesburg, which led to the convention of the old Certificate of Registered Grants of Leasehold into free hold Title Deeds.
• Attended to the transfer of Farms on behalf of the National Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (Previously the Department of Land Affairs) to the National Government of the Republic of South Africa and to the beneficiaries in term of the Restitution of Land Rights and LRAD projects.
• Attended to several Estate Agents, and private transfers
