Elsabe Botha

An attorney, notary and conveyancer with over 20 years in practice and over 10 years experience in managing and running a law firm. Elsabe is personally responsible for the effective management of the firm’s conveyancing department.

She has been appointed in managerial positions from an early stage in her career. In 2003 she became an associate at Blakes Maphanga where she managed the conveyancing department. She was instrumental in ensuring that the said firm was referenced on various panels which included bond cancellation panels as well as a financial bank’s commercial panel. Due to her managerial skills as well as her ability to train and motivate the personnel the company became a top ranking attorney firm on the country’s well-known financial institutions.

Ms. Botha’s service orientated and result driven approach assisted her in getting Blakes Maphanga to become one of only four attorney firms to attend to the foreclosure and subsequent PIP transfers of a well known financial institution. Based on the quick turnaround times achieved with the foreclosure processes, the subsequent transfers with Sherriff appointed-transfers and the PIP’s Blakes Maphanga became a top performing panel attorney firm at the time.

During 2004 Ms. Botha left the legal profession due to certain family responsibilities.

She returned to the legal profession in 2005 and joined Potgieter, Ndabambi and Fourie Inc. and again achieved success in her profession by inter alia overturning the company’s overall performance which included much quicker turnaround time, the appointment of the relevant company as a panel attorney for two known financial institutions. These appointments lead to an appointment at the same financial institution’s commercial panel. The company consistently performed well under her mandate and instruction. The constant top rankings at the four major financial institutions were a product of her dedication and hard work. She was soon appointed an associate.

During 2009 Potgieter, Ndabambi and Fourie Inc. merged with Gys Louw and Partners and became known as KGL Inc. Ms Botha was appointed as a director. Within 3 months the newly formed company again achieved outstanding results with regards to turnaround times and process adherence. The company was appointed to the Super Panel of one of the financial commercial institutions due to her ability to motivate, guide and support her team to attend to and register their matters in the quickest possible time.
