After obtaining her LLB degree from the University of Pretoria, she completed her articles of clerkship at the firm of Jan Ehlers Attorneys whereafter she practised as attorney at the firm of Blackie Swart Attorneys, specialising mainly in divorce and family law matters.
In 2009, Bronwyn started her firm as senior partner of the firm Spies & May Attorneys with her main field of expertise in matrimonial family law, divorce law and particular interest in children's rights.
In 2012, the boutique family law firm of Bronwyn May Attorneys was founded.
Her fields of specialisation and devoted interest includes High conflict divorce and custody matters, children's rights and best interests, curator/representation for minor children,parental alienation, child abuse, case management/mediation and co-ordination, adoptions, custody and contact (access) disputes, relocation, parenting plans, maintenance and domestic violence.
