Adele van Wyk started working in the legal world in 1994 as a full-time conveyancing secretary at Bezuidenhout Van Zyl Attorneys in Johannesburg, where she was employed for two years. Following that, she moved to Bothas Incorporated in Empangeni to work as an article clerk while studying LLB through Unisa. After being admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in February 2002, Adele opened her own practice, Van Wyk Attorneys, in Brooklyn, Pretoria. She is now one of the founding directors of A Chimes & Van Wyk Inc in George. Adele has had many responsibilities outside of the legal world, having been appointed the Ladies Captain of the Fancourt Golf Club in both 2008 and 2010. She is currently serving as a Committee Member of the Herolds Bay Rate Payers Association and is a Director of the Fancourt Master HOA, having been appointed for both positions in 2017. When she is not at work, Adele can most likely be found playing golf with her husband and three sons.
