Andaleen Chimes started her legal career as a conveyancing secretary with Du Plessis and Eksteen in Pretoria, serving until her admission as an attorney in 1988, when she became Vice-Secretary of the Law Society of the Transvaal (Disciplinary Division). From 1990 to 2002, she worked as the Practice Manager and bookkeeper for her husband’s three veterinary practices in the UK, before making her return to the legal world when she joined Roux, Kruger and Haycock Attorneys in September 2003. While under their employ, she oversaw the Kingswood Golf Estate Development’s transfer and bond registrations, as well as several other developments. She was promoted to Director in 2004, and was admitted as a Conveyancer in 2005. She now serves as a name partner at A Chimes & Van Wyk Attorneys Inc. Aside from being a qualified attorney and conveyancer, Andi is also a mother of three, with two sons and one daughter.
