Kirstie was admitted as an attorney in 1999 and after practicing at Mostert & Bosman initially in their General Litigation Department, she joined Henry Shields Chiat in 2000. She was promoted to Associate in 2002 and became a Director of DSC in 2004.
Kirstie specialises in Insurance and Personal Injury Law, where she has had extensive experience conducting both High Court Litigation and Arbitrations, and also has experience in Medical Malpractice Litigation.
Kirstie currently serves as co-chairperson of the Western Cape arm of the South African Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (SAAPIL), and in that capacity has been heavily engaged in recent years with the ongoing parliamentary process surrounding proposed amendments to the Road Accident Fund legislation.
