Hendrik heads the Litigation Department. Hendrik further specialises in family law, commercial litigation, and curator applications where required.
With a keen interest in law, commerce and IT, Hendrik obtained B.Com and LL.B degrees at the University of the Free State, where after he kicked off his career in Bloemfontein, the legal capital at the time. There, he qualified as an attorney, conveyancer and notary. After practising for more than four years as a litigation attorney in Bloemfontein, he joined the Muller Terblanche & Beyers team in Worcester, where he has overseeing the Litigation Department since 2003.
With his accounting background and advanced computer skills, he is capable of dealing with financially complex matters, and over recent years, has extended his services to include commercial legal services.
For 13 years, Hendrik was also actively involved in Round Table, South Africa, where he participated in community projects, both locally and internationally, and is currently a member of Round Table 41’s organisation. His community involvement also includes acting pro bono as commissioner for the Small Claims Court in Worcester, for which the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development bestowed on him an award for Recognition of Long Service as a commissioner for 15 years.
