Eric Louw matriculated in 1997. He then studied his LLB at the University of Stellenbosch. While busy with his studies, Eric started a small internet business. He managed all the legal aspects and was also appointed as marketing member. Within 2 years the business, known as Internet Property Marketing Services (IPMS), went on to become a sound and formidable enterprise. In 2003 IPMS was the biggest supplier of website technology to small estate agents in the Western Cape.
Upon graduation he decided to pursue his passion for the legal profession. After finishing his studies, Eric commenced articles at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr (formerly known as HofmeyrHerbsteinGihwala) and was admitted as an attorney in 2006. In July 2006 he joined A Batchelor & Associates as an Associate. He now specialises in litigation. His areas of speciality include Road Accident Fund claims, personal injury, medical negligence unlawful arrest and detention, claims against PRASA and criminal law.
