De Vries (Cape Town) Inc was established in 1999 as the Cape Town branch of De Vries Inc of Sandton. De Vries Inc was founded in 1940. De Vries (Cape Town) Inc specialised in Personal Injury Law and Property Law.

Henry Shields Chiat (HSC) was a law firm of the most respected personal injury lawyers in the Western Cape. Henry Shields, who has practised for decades in the field of personal injury law, is well known locally and internationally and currently serves the International Bar Association (IBA) as its Negligence and Compensation Committee Secretary. He is also on the board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA). The latest volume of Corbett & Honey, The Quantum of Damages (widely used by personal injury practitioners) contains numerous cases dealt with by HSC and which made law.

Mostert & Bosman was founded more than 100 years ago of which Mostert and Bosman (Cape Town Partnership) specialised in Personal Injury Law and Conveyancing.
